Trace2au: Audio Monitoring Tools for Parallel Programs

Abstract

(eng) It is not easy to reach the best performances you can expect of a parallel computer. We therefore have to use monitoring programs to study the performances of parallel programs. We introduce here a way to generate sound in real-time on a workstation, with no additional hardware, and we apply it to such monitoring programs.
